In July 2024, we contacted The Haas Group LLC to inspect our roof, as we were concerned about its condition. We received their report stating that the TAMKO roof installation had been done improperly and the installers had not followed the manufacturer’s installation guidelines.
We also discovered that the shingles used on our roof are no longer manufactured and were, in fact, discontinued end of 2012.
We then contacted Focal Point Homes and Dae Won Construction.
After months of back-and-forth communication with Dae Won Construction, the original installers, they agreed to repair the roof due to the improper installation. They informed us that they had contacted their distribution center and confirmed that our shingles and color are available!
